SANTA CLARITA, CA – Hope International traveled north to face The Master's on Thursday, Sept. 30 in its sixth GSAC tilt of the season. The Royals were able to take two sets off of their hosts but could not close the deal in the fifth before falling on the road.

Volleyball - Sat, Sep. 23, 2017

SAN DIEGO, CA – Hope International traveled south to San Diego on Saturday, Sept. 23 to face the San Diego Christian Hawks as part of a four-game road trip and came away victorious in straight sets. The Royals have now won five straight, including four wins against GSAC teams, and will finish their road stint with a match at The Master's next Thursday.

PHOENIX, AZ – Hope International picked up its fourth win in a row on Thursday, Sept. 21 after a stop at GSAC foe Arizona Christian. The Royals avenged their loss to ACU in the most recent meeting from the 2016 season and improved their GSAC record to 3-1 with the four-set win.

Volleyball - Wed, Sep. 20, 2017

SURPRISE, AZ – Hope International took a quick intermission from its GSAC slate on Wednesday, Sept. 20 with a match against the Ottawa (AZ) Spirit. HIU made a test run of what could be a two-team conference trip beginning in 2018 with a match against the Spirit prior to playing current GSAC opponent Arizona Christian on Thursday, Sept. 21, and won the first-ever meeting in straight sets.

FULLERTON, CA – The (RV) Royals hosted William Jessup on Saturday, Sept. 16 in the Darling Pavilion at 3:00 pm in their third GSAC match of 2017. Fresh off a win over Menlo the previous night, the Royals built on the momentum from their first GSAC win and captured a second straight over William Jessup in straight sets.

FULLERTON, CA – (RV) Hope International hosted its first home GSAC match of the 2017 season on Sept. 15 at 7:00 pm against Menlo. The Royals dropped the opening set at home but won the next three by six rallies or more to pick up their first GSAC win of the 2017 season against a tough defensive outfit in Menlo.

COSTA MESA, CA – (RV) Hope International opened GSAC play at Vanguard University on Saturday, Sept. 9 and pushed their hosts to five sets. The Royals won the first set of the night and narrowly lost a competitive second set before forcing the issue in the fourth frame with a win in extra rallies, but it wasn't enough to carry the night.
