FULLERTON, CA – Hope International hosted Arizona Christian on Friday, Apr. 21 for the Royals' final GSAC series of the 2017 season and took two from the Firestorm. The Royals won both in walkoff fashion after a late hit gave them a 5-4 win in game one and another gave them an 8-0 win in game two.

FULLERTON, CA – (RV) Hope International hosted Biola on Thursday, Apr. 13 in their second-to-last GSAC series of the 2017 season with an eye toward making up ground in the GSAC standings. The Royals squandered a lead late in game one but bounced back with a run-rule victory in game two to split the afternoon with the Eagles.

FULLERTON, CA – (RV) Hope International hosted NCAA Division II foe Notre Dame de Namur in a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday, Apr. 12 at 10:00 am. The Royals won the first game of the day by five and looked poised to repeat in the second outing before defensive miscues erased their chance for a sweep of the Argonauts.

SANTEE, CA – (RV) Hope International traveled to face San Diego Christian in a GSAC doubleheader on Friday, Apr. 7 to wrap up a four-game season series against the Hawks. The Royals' losing streak continued in the first game but HIU bounced back to stop their skid in game two with a 12-0 run-rule victory.

COSTA MESA, CA – (RV) Hope International University traveled to face the No. 17 Vanguard Lions on Tuesday, Apr. 4 for a doubleheader that capped the four-game season series. HIU put together improved performances at the plate from their previous series against William Jessup but was unable to overcome their hosts in either afternoon game.

FULLERTON, CA – No. 23 Hope International hosted William Jessup for a GSAC doubleheader on Saturday, Apr. 1 and lost both games to the visiting Warriors. The Royals struggled all day at the plate and were shut out all afternoon by the Warriors' pitching staff.

FULLERTON, CA – No. 23 Hope International hosted the Menlo Oaks for an afternoon doubleheader on Friday, Mar. 31 at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. The Oaks continually made contact at opportune times and were able to string together hits in both games where HIU was not, finishing the afternoon with a sweep and claiming the season series 3-1.
