FULLERTON, CA – Hope International remained undefeated despite playing a man short for the overwhelming majority of the match against Ottawa University (AZ) on Thursday, Aug. 31. The Royals lost a player to a red card on a last-ditch tackle outside the box in the 12th minute, but hung on to outlast their spirited opponents with a two-goal advantage at the final horn.

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International hosted the perennially talented Marymount (CA) Mariners and were able to come away victorious in regulation after an outstanding performance as a team. The Royals got some special moments from several of their newcomers en route to defeating the No. 9 Mariners 4-2.

ALISO VIEJO, CA – Hope International got a win against Soka University on Thursday, Aug. 24 to open the 2017 season. The Royals conceded the first goal of the match but were more than able to compensate before the final horn, resulting in a 3-1 victory.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA - The men's soccer program of Hope International continued its annual tradition by traveling down the I-5 freeway to start its season with a service project at Victory House. Coach Joe Lurker and his team have made this a part of their annual preparation for their fall season in each of the past four seasons of competition.

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International held its third annual Signing Day event on May 6, 2017 for its incoming class of athletes. The Royals have used this event to welcome new athletes into the university and introduce them to the Athletics department.

FULLERTON, CA – Another soccer season is in the record books for HIU after the conclusion of the NAIA National Championship in Florida. The Royals received the best-ever ranking in program history and narrowly missed receiving an at-large bid to the tournament after a strong start to their season sputtered at the end due to injury.

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International hosted The Master's University in the first round of the GSAC Playoffs. In a match that looked like it was destined for overtime HIU was knocked out of the playoffs in regulation after the Mustangs netted the deciding goal with three minutes remaining.
