FULLERTON, CA – The No. 17 Hope International Royals hosted Arizona Christian on Saturday, October 22, in their final home tilt of the regular season. HIU honored seniors Thales Serra and Cesar Cruz-Martinez before the match and collected their 11th win of the season to cap the day at Fullerton College.

FULLERTON, CA – Unranked Biola University put an end to the Royals' magic start in the 2016 season on Tuesday, October 18, with a GSAC tilt that was decided in regulation. The Eagles handed HIU their first loss of the season and their first shutout defeat since Oct. 27, 2015 when Westmont beat the Royals 0-1.

SANTA BARBARA, CA – No. 17 Hope International traveled to Westmont for their second meeting of the 2016 season on Saturday, October 15, looking for a second win against the Warriors. HIU had won the previous two meetings dating back to the 2015 GSAC Playoffs.

SANTA CLARITA, CA – After earning their best NAIA ranking in program history on Tuesday the Royals traveled to The Master's to defend that ranking and their unblemished 2016 season record. The Royals went in with a few injuries but came through without a loss.

FULLERTON, CA – The Royals hosted No. 12 Vanguard in another GSAC contest on Saturday, Oct. 8 at Fullerton College. HIU struck first and held on to defeat the top-ranked team in the GSAC in regulation.

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International University hosted (RV) Johnson & Wales in its final non-conference tilt of the 2016 regular season at Fullerton College. A hot afternoon was matched by tempers on the field but HIU avoided having anyone sent off and walked away unbeaten with a 2-1 victory.
