LA MIRADA, CA- After gaining the first seven points of the evening, Hope International did not look back as they pulled out a 61-51 victory over Biola University in the last conference game. Alexis Perry (SR/Cerritos, CA) led the Royals in scoring with 18 points shooting 8-15 from the floor.
FULLERTON, CA- The Hope International Royals brought the heat against the Arizona Christian Firestorm winning 68-65 in their final home game of the season. Alexis Perry (SR/Cerritos, CA) produced a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Cheyenne Ball (JR/Corona, CA) ended the evening with 11 points and eight rebounds, while shooting 4-5 from the floor.
FULLERTON, CA- Hope International played a late game on Saturday night in hopes of upsetting #6 Vanguard. The Royals fought hard but ended up surrendering to the Lions 42-54 in the Darling Pavilion. Julia Pihl (FR/Oceanside, CA) impressed fans as she led the Royals in scoring with 14 points, shooting 4-7 from behind the arc.
The gym isn't as big, surely the lights aren't as bright, and no matter how hard she squints, the blue on her uniform doesn't quite match her old jerseys.
But for everything Hope International University isn't, to Alexis Perry (SR/Cerritos, CA) it's what matters most.
FULLERTON, CA- The Hope International Royals took down the Menlo College Oaks 62-57 in their second matchup of the series on Thursday evening in the Darling Pavilion. The Royals used solid defense to hold their lead over the Oaks for nearly the entire game.
FULLERTON, CA- Hope International fought hard against The Master's College by staying within ten points of the Mustangs for the first three quarters of the game. In the final quarter the Mustangs succeeded from behind the arc securing the 67-52 win on Saturday night. Marissa Rendon (SR/Carson, CA) led the Royals in scoring with 10 points while Ashley Carter-Wafer (JR/Riverside, CA) and Cheyenne Ball (JR/Corona, CA) each contributed eight points.
FULLERTON, CA- Hope International concluded their conference series against San Diego Christian with a 53-40 win on Tuesday evening in the Darling Pavilion. Alexis Perry (SR/Cerritos, CA) led the Royals for the fourth game in a row scoring 21 points, while Cheyenne Ball (JR/Corona, CA) dominated the defensive boards by grabbing a game high 11 rebounds.
