Men's Basketball - Sun, Mar. 9, 2014

Fullerton, CA- Hope International Men's Basketball punched their ticket to their first ever GSAC Championship game with a 61-56 win over The Master's on Saturday.  The third seeded men will face top seeded Vanguard at their place on Tuesday for the GSAC Championship.  Junior Matt Green delivered a big night with 19 points aided by four three pointers.

Men's Basketball - Fri, Mar. 7, 2014

Fullerton, CA- Hope International held off a late charge from Concordia in the opening round of the GSAC Tournament on Thursday as they beat the Eagles 73-65.  The win will send HIU to the GSAC Tournament Semi-Finals for the second time in as many years.  Junior Matt Green and Sophomore Garrett Neilan both scored 20 points.

Men's Basketball - Tue, Mar. 4, 2014

Fullerton, CA- Senior Jeremy Kilgore and Sophomore Garrett Neilan have been named to the 2013-14 All-GSAC Men's Basketball Team presented by Under Armour.  Kilgore and Neilan have spent the season switching back and forth as the leading scorers for HIU.

Men's Basketball - Sun, Mar. 2, 2014

Santa Clarita, CA- Hope International used a 64-58 win over The Master's on Saturday to wrap a third place finish in the GSAC.  Junior Matt Green topped all scorers with 17 points.  Sophomore Garrett Neilan was close behind with 15 points.

Men's Basketball - Wed, Feb. 26, 2014

El Cajon, CA- Hope International pushed their win streak to five straight- the longest current men's streak in the GSAC- with a 75-67 win over San Diego Christian on Tuesday.  The win moved the Royals currently into sole possession of third place in the GSAC standings.  Free throw shooting down the stretch turned out to be the difference in the contest for HIU.  Junior Matt Green topped the Royals with an even 20 points.

 
Garrett Neilan- GSAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week- again
Men's Basketball - Mon, Feb. 24, 2014

Fullerton, CA- The Golden State Athletic Conference announced today that Sophomore Garrett Neilan has earned the GSAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors- his second such honor of the season.  Last week, Neilan averaged 16.5 points and seven rebounds while leading the Royals to two GSAC wins.

Men's Basketball - Sun, Feb. 23, 2014

Fullerton, CA- With the game tied at 53-53 and seconds remaining, Junior Garrett Neilan drove hard to the basket and laid in the game winner as Hope International upset No. 9 Vanguard 55-53 on Saturday.  Neilan finished with an HIU high of 19 points.  Vanguard's Preston Wynne was the leading scorer in the game with 22 points.
