Men's Basketball - Fri, Mar. 20, 2015

Kansas City, MO- Hope International started slowed defensively but used their rebounding to stay in the game before beating Montana-Western 82-72.  A strong second half sent the Royals into the Quarterfinals of the 2015 Buffalo Funds NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship- their first trip ever to the Quarterfinals.  Senior Matt Green and Junior Tuff Barnes both finished with a game high 16 points as five Royals reached doubled figures.

Kansas City, MO- As part of their participation in the 2015 Buffalo Funds NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championships, Hope International Men's Basketball used their service project opportunity to bring joy to kids from Harmony Elementary School on Thursday.

Kansas City, MO- Top seeded Hope International survived West Virginia Tech 70-67 in the opening round of the 2015 Buffalo Funds NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship.  Senior Matt Green lifted the Royals with 20 points including the game icing free throws.

Fullerton, CA- Hours after learning they were ranked number one in the NAIA, Hope International was named the top seed for next week's 78th Annual Buffalo Funds NAIA National Championship.  HIU will face West Virginia Tech on Wednesday at 3:15 (PT)/ 5:15 (CT) in the first round at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, MO.

Men's Basketball - Tue, Mar. 10, 2015

Fullerton, CA- After winning the regular season GSAC Championship a week and a half ago, the Royals won the GSAC Tournament Championship on Tuesday night.  In a game carried live on Fox College Sports and Fox Prime Ticket, Hope International beat Concordia 75-61 to win the GSAC tournament title.  Senior Kenny Morgan and Junior Tuff Barnes both scored a team high 18 points.

Men's Basketball - Sat, Mar. 7, 2015

Fullerton, CA- Top seeded Hope International is heading to the GSAC Championship next Tuesday, despite coughing up a nine point lead in the final minute before slipping past fourth seeded Arizona Christian 73-72 on Saturday night.  The Royals are heading to their second straight GSAC Championship game.  Senior Kenny Morgan did not disappoint as he scored a game high 28 points including the game winning free throw.

Men's Basketball - Thu, Mar. 5, 2015

Fullerton, CA- From a tie at 31-31, Hope International outscored William Jessup 55-37 which resulted in an 86-68 HIU win in the first round of the GSAC Playoffs on Thursday evening.  Senior Matt Green torched the nets with impressive shooting and 25 points.
