FULLERTON, CA – No. 5 Hope International hosted No. 14 The Master's Mustangs on Tuesday, March 7, for the GSAC Tournament Finals in the Darling Pavilion. The game was a classic GSAC contest that took two overtimes to decide as each team dug deep throughout the night with highlight after highlight for each side.

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International is set to host its third consecutive GSAC Tournament Championship on Tuesday, March 7 at 5:00 pm on the women's side and 8:00 pm for the men. For the fourth consecutive season, the men of HIU will be playing in the GSAC Tournament title game.

SANTA BARBARA, CA – Hope International traveled north to Westmont for the 2017 GSAC Tournament Semifinals on Saturday, March 4 at Murchison Gymnasium. The Royals were able to battle past the Warriors despite playing in hostile territory and will return home to play in the GSAC Tournament Championship after defeating Westmont by 15 on the road.

Men's Basketball - Tue, Feb. 28, 2017

ALISO VIEJO, CA - The GSAC Office has released the 2016-17 Men's Basketball All-Conference Team presented by Under Armour. The team consists of 11 players and is led by GSAC Player of the Year, Liam Hunt (JR/San Anselmo, CA) from Hope International University. Lawrence Russell from The Master's University is the Defensive Player of the Year. Bill Czech from HIU, who led the Royals to the Regular Season GSAC Championship with a record of 13-3, is the GSAC Coach of the Year.

ROCKLIN, CA – It took overtime against a scrappy Warriors team on their Senior Day, but Hope International was able to claim its second undisputed GSAC Championship with an 89-88 victory over William Jessup. Hope International went 2-0 on its last road trip of the regular season to secure the solo share of the title, the number one seed in the GSAC Tournament, and a first round bye at Westmont on Mar. 3.

Men's Basketball - Thu, Feb. 23, 2017

ATHERTON, CA – Hope International traveled north for its final road trip of the season to play Menlo and William Jessup over the weekend. The Royals opened the road trip at Menlo and trailed throughout the first half and into the second before grinding out a tough win in Atherton on the road against the Oaks.

Men's Basketball - Sat, Feb. 18, 2017

FULLERTON, CA – No. 10 Hope International hosted No. 4 Biola on Saturday, February 18, in the last-ever regular season meeting between the two teams as conference opponents. The Royals celebrated two seniors as well on Saturday as part of Senior Night and were able to send their seniors out with a win over the Top Five-ranked Eagles in regulation.
