COSTA MESA, CA – No. 15 Hope International University returned to action after celebrating Christmas with an appearance at the Bill Reynolds Holiday Classic hosted by Vanguard University. The Royals will be playing two games at the Classic and opened on Friday, December 30 with a game against Saskatchewan (CAN) at 6:00 pm.

CHANDLER, AZ – The No. 15 Royals played their final game of the Great Falls (MT) Cactus Classic on Tuesday, Dec. 20 against the Embry-Riddle (AZ) Eagles. Coach Bill Czech elected to rest players in the final game of a back-to-back-to-back three-game stretch and the Royals gritted out a win against the Eagles with a lot of help from their bench units.

CHANDLER, AZ – No. 15 Hope International played their second game of the Cactus Classic hosted by Great Falls (MT) on Monday, Dec. 19 against Montana Western at 3:00 pm. The Royals fought hard in their second game in as many days but ultimately fell short against the Bulldogs on the neutral court.

PHOENIX, AZ – No. 15 Hope International hit the road for a three-game appearance in the Cactus Classic hosted by Great Falls (MT) on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, Dec. 18-20 in the greater Phoenix area. The Royals opened up their appearance at the Classic with a matchup against the Battlin' Bears of Rocky Mountain College (MT) at 1:00 pm on Sunday afternoon.

FULLERTON, CA – No. 15 Hope International hosted the second game of a back-to-back against Northwest Indian College (WA) on Tuesday. The Royals set a new program mark again for the largest win over NWIC and cracked the Top 10 in program history for most points in a single game and largest margin of victory.

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International hosted the first game of a back-to-back against Northwest Indian on Tuesday, Dec. 13 and set a pair of new marks for the season in scoring and rebounding against the visiting Eagles. Six Royals scored in double figures as HIU romped to another non-conference win.

SANTA BARBARA, CA – 15th-ranked Hope International opened its 2016-17 GSAC slate at Westmont on Saturday, Dec. 10 in the Munchinson Gym against the No. 9 Warriors. HIU fought hard against their hosts but their final push came up short in their first loss of the season.
