Jurich, from Scottsdale, AZ, has made a lastly impression on the Hope International Men's Basketball program despite playing for the Royals for just one season. His rebounding has been the most impressive feature of his game. With the regular season finished, he leads the GSAC and NAIA with 12.8 rebounds per contest. For prospective, the player that finished second in rebounding in the GSAC grabbed 7.9 rebounds a game.
The 12.8 rebound career average is the highest in the program's record books since Hope International joined the GSAC in 1999-00.
He grabbed a career high 21 rebounds against La Sierra. He finished with 10 plus rebounds in 21 of his 24 games played. He just missed double digits with 9 rebounds in two of those three games.
On the scoring end, he finished the regular season with 13.3 points a game. He scored a career high 27 points twice- at Pacific Union and at Westmont. He reached 20 points in a game on three other occasions- 24 points against Simpson, 21 at The Master's, and 20 against La Sierra.
Against GSAC foes, he averaged 12.3 points and 12.2 rebounds.
Jurich now will turn his attention toward helping the Royals advance in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) playoffs.
