FULLERTON, CA- The Hope International Royals took part in the CSU Fullerton Titan Invitational on Friday. The lady Royals finished sixth in a field of seven teams, edging out UC Santa Barbara by 52 points as a team.

Janna Langrell (SR/Pomona, CA) was at the front of the Royals' pack at the Invitational with a 20:03 final time. The Titan Invite marked her best finish of the 2015 season and her first time as the leader of the HIU team.

Taylor Butler (SO/Chino, CA) finished five spots behind Langrell with a time of 20:27. Siena Rivera (SO/Kingsburg, CA) came in a little over half a minute later ending her run at the 20:41 mark. Karen Ayala came in at 21:38 to finish fourth for the Royals, and Ronda Ackley (JR/Hemet, CA) crossed the line with 22:10 on the clock for her best finish of 2015.

Hope will take a two-week break from competition before returning to action in their final event of 2015 at the GSAC Championships hosted by Biola at Irvine Regional Park on Nov. 7.
