Fullerton, CA- On Monday, Junior Amanda Scheatzle earned the year's first GSAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honor as announced by the Golden State Athletic Conference.  The forward scored five goals with one assist in the three matches played by Hope International last week.

Softball - Mon, Sep. 8, 2014

Hope International University Women's Softball team will be hosting a softball clinic on September 21 (originally scheduled for September 14) from 9:30 am – 1:00 pm (check-in at 9:00 am) at Fullerton College.  The clinic is geared for 13-17 year olds.  All levels of experience welcome.  Cost for the clinic is $40 per participant.  Registration deadline is September 15.  All participants are required to sign a waiver prior to participating.

Volleyball - Sun, Sep. 7, 2014

Costa Mesa, CA- Hope International dropped their opening set on Saturday but bounced back to win the final three sets as they beat Mayville State 3-1 (24-26, 25-20, 25-17, 25-23).  Junior Dana Nicholson and Sophomore Johannah Wade topped the Royals with 15 kills apiece.  Freshman Shea Beeman delivered 22 digs.

Women's Soccer - Sun, Sep. 7, 2014

Fullerton, CA - Hope International controlled all aspects of their match on Saturday against Mills as they shut out the Cyclones 10-0.  In fact, the Royals did not allow even a single shot in season home opener.  Juniors Amanda Scheatzle and Brandi Neilan both produced a three goal effort.

Men's Cross Country - Sun, Sep. 7, 2014

Irvine, CA –Sophomore Brian Tressler finished 33rd out of 108 for the first cross country race of the 2014 season at the adidas/UC Irvine Invitational this morning.  Due to only having four runners, the team did not receive a score.
