New coaches Gerardo Hidalgo and Bianca Fard were each standout defenders for the Royals
Women's Soccer - Tue, Aug. 23, 2016

FULLERTON, CA – Hope international is proud to welcome back two alumni to its soccer coaching staffs. Gerardo Hidalgo returns to the Royals as an assistant for the men's soccer program while Bianca Fard returns to assist the women's program. Both alumni will look to strengthen the programs they helped build during their time on the pitch in new ways this fall as they navigate new duties on and off the field.

Men's Volleyball - Tue, Aug. 23, 2016

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International says goodbye to Head Coach Noah Casaquit (HIU '12) after one and a half seasons at the helm of the Men's Volleyball program. Coach Casaquit took over midway through the 2015 season and ended his tenure at HIU with a 23-17 overall record and a pair of postseason appearances.

Volleyball - Mon, Aug. 22, 2016

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International continued its strong start to the 2016 season with an upset of No. 18 Southern Oregon at home on Monday, Aug. 22 in the Darling Pavilion. The Raiders came in to the contest with a 3-1 record but HIU was able to upend the visiting squad in four sets.

Volleyball - Wed, Aug. 17, 2016

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International hosted the #4 Viterbo University V-Hawks on Wednesday, August 17, in a non-conference matchup. HIU was able to take the first set from the #4 team in the NAIA but struggled after the opener and ultimately fell in four.

Volleyball - Sat, Aug. 13, 2016

FULLERTON, CA – Hope International opened its 2016 campaign with a three-set sweep of the Providence Christian Seabeggars on Saturday, Aug. 13 in the Darling Pavilion. The Royals weathered a testy second set and powered through the finish line in the third stanza for the sweep.
